A CARE ABOVE
We are a full-service hospice provider, dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses. Our team of experts is committed to ensuring comfort, dignity, and respect during this difficult time. At Acara Hospice, we recognize the importance of individualized care and work closely with patients and families to develop a care plan that meets their unique needs and preferences. Thank you for considering us for your hospice care needs.
Acara Hospice was started in 2022 as an effort to keep hospice care owned and operated in our community. We are local, experienced, hospice clinicians. We believe small is better than big, and individualized is better than standardized. Hospice care is best provided with small town values and hospice hearts. Hospice and palliative care should be personalized care.

Dana and Stacey Rowse serve as owners and managers of Acara Hospice. Dana is a Respiratory Therapist and Stacey is a Registered Nurse. Combined they have more than 25 years working together in hospice.
We believe in hiring team members with a shared passion for end-of-life care, managing in a way that allows all team members to have a voice to create great services, and ultimately in providing hospice care that is truly A Care Above.
We believe that hospice founders like Florence Nightingale, Dame Cicely Saunders, and Florence Wald paved the way for how to care for terminally ill patients and their families and strive to continue those efforts as hospice evolves.
Thank you for entrusting us with these precious moments.
